Lawyer by Day,
Poet by Night,
Stars in my eyes,
Dreams that are twice the size;
Faith in my heart,
So deep that nothing can tear apart.

Poetic Journey
Naina was ten years old when her first ever poem, on Harry Potter, was published in the Tele-Kids, a supplementary newspaper with the
Telegraph, in Kolkata. This gave her a lot of confidence to continue to write. However, due to her hectic schedule during her 5 years at NUJS, and for the five years that she practiced litigation, poetry took a backseat. She finally
picked up her pen to write for her father’s 60th birthday, as a gift to him, on 23rd October 2018. Thereafter, her knowledge and wisdom from her learnings of life, made her write on topics such as the meaning of Happiness. Being a tarot card reader made her explore in poetic expression as to how one can create their own destiny.
She then started her Instagram handle in December 2019 where she started writing and reciting her poetry. Then Covid-19 hit and the lockdown was announced in March 2020. It was a year filled with challenges. Naina decided to write about those very challenges, in poetic form and post them on her Instagram handle, unapologetically so, for everyone to relate to and benefit from her words.
